Ayahuasca Ceremony

This One-night Ayahuasca experience with Sowa Nete takes place in a very quiet and peaceful space next to the Uvita river and surrounded by the jungle. Our goal is to make this experience the most profound and authentic one as possible.   Before you join our ceremony, we will send you a health questionary, to make sure that it is safe for you to take the medicine.  Please be aware: IF YOU ARE TAKING ONE OF THE FOLLOWING MEDICATIONS WE DO NOT PROVIDE AYAHUASCA: Antidepressants and other MAO inhibitors. If you are taking other medications (prescription and non-prescription), we recommend a washout period of 2 weeks, same goes for recreational drugs, and a minimum period of 12 hours for alcohol!!!  IMPORTANT: After the ceremony, you can either sleep on our camping ground or walk back to your accommodation. Driving is not permitted after drinking ayahuasca. (We can help you finding the right accommodation!)

Schedule:

Day before ceremony: Meeting to get to know each other, talk about your intentions and the ceremony (the do's and don'ts and the dosage that you will be taking)

Day of ceremony: We will meet at 6pm to get ready for ceremony. We will give you some time to prepare, repeat your intentions and familiarize with your surroundings. The medicine will be served once the sun goes down and the ceremony lasts approximately until midnight.

Day after ceremony: We will meditate together and share our experiences in a sharing circle. If you want (this is optional), join us for a typical Costa Rican breakfast and spend some extra time with us, to share music and stories.
