Magic Mushroom Ceremony

We are very excited to announce our Magic Mushroom Ceremony on Sunday 16th April 2023.

The ceremony will take place on our private camping ground called "Camping Cola Ballena" right by the beach (200 meter from the entrance to the park at Playa Chaman).

It is very quiet and we will have the space for us, to enjoy the sounds and music and have a beautiful journey.

The mushroom that we will be taking is called Albino Penis Envy. Compared to other psilocybin mushrooms, Penis Envy is considered two to three times more potent on average. They were grown here in beautiful Costa Rica.

General information about shrooms:

Magic Mushrooms have been used for thousands of years for both spiritual and medicinal uses among indigenous people of America and Europe.

The psilocybin found in shrooms can change the way you see, smell, hear, taste, and touch. Whether you want to attain superior spiritual states,  connect to nature and yourself or just experience the sensation on shrooms, we provide a safe space with different sounds and support you throughout your journey.

The effects take 20 to 40 minutes to begin and can last up to 6 hours.

A number of factors influence the effects of magic mushrooms, including dosage, age, weight, personality, emotional state and environment.

IMPORTANT: If you can, it is best if you fast on that day, so that the medicine can work deeper. Otherwise we recommend you eat lightly throughout the day of the ceremony and eat lunch latest at 1pm. 

Also, wear something comfortable and bring a jacket/ sweater in case you feel cold during the ceremony. We also ask you to bring your own yoga mat or towel!

Researchers at Johns Hopkins found that psilocybin is an effective treatment for depression and nicotine and alcohol addictions, as well as other substance use disorders. Other studies have shown that magic mushrooms were effective and relieving the emotional distress of people with life-threatening cancer diagnoses.

Psilocybin is not addictive and does not lead to compulsive use!

NOT RECOMMENDED IF YOU ARE TAKING ANY OF THE FOLLOWING MEDICATIONS:

Antidepressants, other MAO inhibitors, medication (prescription and non-prescription). Also, a washout period of 2 weeks is recommended for recreational drugs, and a minimum period of 12 hours for alcohol!
